There is a bit less concentration though more finesse and minerality to the sleek middle weight flavors that deliver excellent persistence on the balanced, clean and very dry finale. One to check out."

"Pale primrose colour. Magisterial if somewhat tucked away nose. The palate has all the weight of this great vineyard, plus a touch of graphite and even some sandalwood. It has been raised in barrels from 7 to 20 years old. Exquisite finish as ever, though fair to say it is in a more powerful register than some years."
