"This is a wonderfully open, expressive version of Gobillard's NV Brut Vieilles Vignes. Warm, open aromatics meld seamlessly into a perfumed core of fruit that flows effortlessly through to the long finish. The Pinot provides wonderful depth as this generous wine opens up in the glass. Fresh, minty notes add lift on the finish. The Vieilles Vignes is 45% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier, equal parts 2007, 2006 and 2005, bottled with 7 grams of dosage.
