"The 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé Sur La Roche derives from a parcel situated at 420 meters and exposed to the east—in other words, a site too good to be classified as premier cru. Mingling notes of citrus oil and green apple with hints of warm bread and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, with a chiseled profile and chalky grip on the finish." - William Kelley

"Bursting from the glass with aromas of orange zest, citrus blossom, beeswax and warm bread, the 2017 Pouilly-Fuissé Sur La Roche is medium to full-bodied, deep and muscular, with ripe acids, good depth and tension at the core and persuasive grip on the finish that suggests it will reward at least a few year's bottle age." - William Kelley

"Two little plots will be 1er cru from 2020, but the remainder comes above the dividing line. Pure mid yellow, very powerful, but with energy and finesse too. There is a real burst of fruit through the middle, then very good length. Nearly 15% in alcohol apparently which maybe shows at the very back, but otherwise there is a freshness of fruit from this high altitude site that belies the power." - Jasper Morris
